Make the PADI Master Instructor Rating Courses Work for Your Schedule

PADI courses typically consist of theory and practice to achieve mastery.

We recommend breaking the course up to make it work for your busy lifestyle.

Logged Dives: PADI Master SCUBA Diver applicants must demonstrate proof of 50 logged dives (May include Specialty training dives.)

Theory: To certify as a PADI Master Diver: Students complete PADI e-learning knowledge development for (FIVE) distinctive PADI specialties prior to scheduled course dives. Already have specialty certifications? No problem. We can customize to the needs of individual divers.

Open Water Specialty Dives: Students complete requirements for (up to five) distinctive specialties at our house site in Old San Juan or at our favorite deep dive sites near Crashboat, Puerto Rico. (Boat dives are available for an additional fee).

PADI MASTER SCUBA DIVER COURSE FEES

(Rates are per person. 50% due on booking with final payment due 1 week prior to course start. Group discounts available to early birds, at least one month prior to the course start date.)

E-LEARNING THEORY ONLINE & OPEN WATER DIVES with ADVENTURE MERMAID

(Complete PADI specialty certifications with Adventure Mermaid in San Juan, Puerto Rico)

PADI e-learning and application fees = $138 each specialty course (Nitrox Specialty $200)
Instructor fees = $99 per dive = number of dives VARIES dependent upon specialty course requirement.

Additional gear-related costs: PADI Master SCUBA divers typically come to courses with their own gear. A full set is available for rent at $85/day (includes BCD, reg, tanks and weights).

A wetsuit is not required for this course in tropical water, but one can be rented for a modest fee locally. Light wetsuits 1-3 mm or "shorties" are appropriate for tropical water, if desired.
Boat dives have an additional charge of $150-$200 (2 dives), dependent upon boat operator.
Students should be prepared to provide personal transportation or to share in the costs for transportation to and from dive sites or point of departure for boat dives.
